Dr. Cassandra Young (AKA: Cassie), is very passionate about providing excellent skilled care for every patient she works with. She believes it is important to find the root cause of the patient’s dysfunction in order to resolve their pain. Much of her training has emphasized a thorough examination looking at all potential factors causing a person’s pain or dysfunction, and in providing effective hands on treatment. She is particularly passionate about the role the spine plays in many orthopedic conditions. Dr. Young joins our practice from Wisconsin but is not a stranger to Texas, as she graduated from Physical Therapy school at Texas Women's University in Dallas, Texas. She is a Certified Manual Physical Therapist (CMPT) through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy. She is currently enrolled in the fellowship program in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy and is scheduled to complete her fellowship in 2019.

Dr. Young spent much of her time in athletics growing up and has personal experience in rehabilitation from sports related injuries. She found her initial interest in becoming a Physical Therapist when undergoing physical therapy for ACL reconstruction and meniscus tear while playing soccer and volleyball. She is very passionate about having people of all ages return to the highest level of function possible after an injury and in promoting an active lifestyle. Dr. Young loves spending time with her husband and her dog. She loves all things outside to include hiking, rock climbing, playing games, traveling, and spending time with her family.
